PURPOSE:To provide a method capable of obtaining a dense thermal-spray repairing layer while securing stable flame formation in a short distance and also, capable of repairing the furnace wall in a coke oven with remarkably reduced generation of back fire and accidental fire, by remote operation. CONSTITUTION:Pure oxygen gas stream and powdery material carrier gas stream are mixed in a mixing chamber 22 arranged at the front of the discharging hole in a nozzle and a stirring chamber 30 and the ratio of the powdery material wt. fed into the thermal-spray nozzle 32 to the total gas wt. is adjusted to 1.1-1.5. Further, a flowing inlet of the pure oxygen gas stream is opened in the mixing chamber 22 and the stirring chamber 30 is arranged at the downstream side of this mixing chamber 22, and the thermal-spray nozzle 32 is arranged through a discharging hole branched as T-shape in between these two chambers. |
