PURPOSE:To prepare a refrigerator oil compsn. for use in a refrigerant compressor wherein use is made of a chlorine-free refrigerant comprising a refrigerant R134a not causative of the stratospheric layer disruption. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic hydrocarbon oil comprising a naphthene mineral oil, a paraffin mineral oil, an alkylbenzene oil and a poly-alpha-olefin oil, and a mixture thereof are used as a base oil to prepare a refrigerator oil compsn. having a viscosity at 40 deg.C of 2 to 15cSt and a viscosity at 100 deg.C of 1 to 4cSt. |
