PURPOSE:To obtain a flame-retardant, antifungal wall facing material nonadsorptive in indoor dust and resistant to light staining by calendering or embossing nonwoven fabric consisting of polyester filament yarns containing both phosphorus and silver elements followed by putting the resultant nonwoven fabric to antistatic treatment. CONSTITUTION:A web with random loop texture 30-300g/m<2> in basis weight, consisting of polyester filament yarns containing (A) as flame retarding component, 950-10000ppm, on a phosphorus element basis, of a phosphorus compound of the formula and (B) as antifungal component, 50-30000ppm, on a silver element basis, of Baron AG 300 (manufactured by Toagosei Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.) is partly put to heat fusing or needle-punched to produce nonwoven fabric, which is then calendered or embossed and imparted with 0.05-1.0wt.%, on a solid basis, of an antistatic agent. |
