PURPOSE:To atomize injected fuel without increasing intake resistance by arranging a fuel collision member on an air funnel part on the upstream end of an intake passage, providing a fuel injector on a downstream thereof, and injecting the fuel to a fuel collision surface of the intake upstream side fuel collision member from an intake downstream side. CONSTITUTION:A feel injector 9 provided on an upstream side opening 7a of an air funnel 7 is arranged and fixed such that its injection port 9a is faced to a center of a fuel collision surface 10a of an upstream side fuel collision member 10 opposed to the upstream side opening 7a of the air funnel 7. The side of an upstream surface 10b of the fuel collision member 10 is projected in a streamlined manner so as to possibly reduce intake resistance, while the downstream side fuel collision surface 10 is flat formed. The fuel injected by the fuel injector 9 is struck against the fuel collision surface 10a and rapidly atomized. Mixing is performed by Karman's vortex, and introduced into an engine combustion chamber 2 from the air funnel 7. |
