PURPOSE: To simplify a drive system by providing the drive system with at least a single common drive member for plural supporting arms and connecting individual supporting arms to this drive member. CONSTITUTION: The plural supporting arms 5 are pivotally movably coupled to a longitudinal shaft 4. The respective supporting arms 5 are pivotally mounted on a control rod 11 via a lever 9. The control rod 11 can be moved back and forth by a slider 20 having a pneumatic cylinder 21, by which a connecting tooth 18 of the control recording 11 can be selectively connected to a connecting channel 17 of a stationary holding beam 12 or a connecting channel 16 of a connecting ledge 14a of a drive beam 14. A conveyor belt 22 is disposed in order to transport the cut parts of a plate 7 or residual portions thereof. Plural tongues 23 are disposed to hold the plate 7 during the cutting operation. Two sideways hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders are disposed for the purpose of the displacement perpendicular to the drive beam 14.
