PURPOSE:To improve axial directional rigidity, that is, passive stable rigidity and to decrease radial directional rigidity, that is, unstable rigidity by setting ratio of the axial directional rigidity to the radial directional rigidity to almost 1.0 or more. CONSTITUTION:In a passive stable magnetic bearing arranged between a rotary part, formed of a rotor and a rotary shaft, and a fixed part provided between the rotor and the rotary shaft, to support the rotary part in the axial direction relating to the fixed part, permanent magnets 1, 2 in a rotary unit side and permanent magnets 4, 5 in a fixed unit side are respectively formed in a ring shape and magnetized in a Z direction of the rotary shaft. The permanent magnets 1, 2 interpose a ring-shaped magnetic material 7 made of ferromagnetic substance from above and below, and the permanent magnets 4, 5 interpose a ring-shaped magnetic material 9 made of ferromagnetic substance from above and below, to arrange magnetic poles so as to be repulsed each other. Accordingly, magnetic flux density between the magnetic materials 7, 9 is easily placed in a saturated condition, to improve axial directional rigidity of the passive stable magnetic bearing. |
