<p>PURPOSE:To establish a technique to utilize a ferronickel slag as a cement substitutive material. CONSTITUTION:The ferronickel slag cement is composed of <=15% ferronickel slag, which is secondarily generated at the time of recovering ferronickel by partially fusing and reducing a Fe, Ni-containing oxide ore in a kiln and contains 40-60% SiO2, 3-15% CaO, 20-40% MgO and 1-5% Al2O3 and balance unreduced FeO and inevitable impurities, and balance the cement. As a result, the used quantity of the cement is substantially reduced and large industrial usefulness is attained.</p> |
