<p>PURPOSE:To permit the cost of external circuits to increase as small as possible by providing a controlling means for allowing a light emitting element to emit light plural times to form one line of data while allowing a surface of a photosensitive body to move with the aid of a photosensitive body driving means. CONSTITUTION:A temporary storage means 67 holds image bit map imaging data for one line while sequentially shifting the serial image bit map imaging data (VDO 1) outputted from a DRAM controller 40. A correction ROM means 68 stores correction data that are data on variance in brightness with respect to each of LED elements 71, and a comparison means 69 produces a signal indicating the kind of correction according to correction data from the correction ROM means. A correcting means 70 corrects an image bit map image data signal (VDO 2) outputted from the temporary storage means 67 according to a signal indicating the kind of correction, which is outputted from the comparison means 69, and outputs a corrected signal. A latch unit 45 latches and holds data for one line held in a serial/parallel conversion unit 44.</p> |
