PURPOSE:To enhance developed color density and a color forming speed by adding a metal salt of a salicylic acid derivative represented by a predetermined formula. CONSTITUTION:In a developing sheet for pressure-sensitive recording using an electron donating colorless dye and an electron acceptive compd., a metal salt of a salicylic acid derivative represented by predetermined formula (wherein R1 and R2 are a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an aralkyl group and may be the same or different and at least one of R1 and R2 is a 10 or more C straight chain alkyl group), for example, alkali metal 3-n-dodecylsalicylate is added. The metal salt of the salicylic acid derivative may be used together with a metal salt of 3,5-diaralkyl substituted salicylic acid derivative. |
