<p>PURPOSE:To inhibit the degradation of the properties of the recycled material by adding a phenolic compound of a specified formula and a cyclic phosphite compound of a specified formula to the polyolefinic resin in the waste product. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. polyolefinic resin in the classified and recovered waste products is mixed with 0.01-5 pts.wt. at least one phenolic compound of formula I or II (wherein R1 and R2 are each 1-4 C alkyl; R3 is H or 1-4 C alkyl; (n) is 1-4; and A is the residue of a mono- to tetra-hydric alcohol) and 0.01-5 pts.wt. at least one cyclic phosphite compound of formula III (wherein R4 is 1-4 C alkyl; R5 is H or 1-4 C alkyl; and R6 is F or 1-30 C alkoxyl). If necessary, 0.01-5 pts.wt. tetramethylpiperidine compound of formula IV (wherein R7 is H, 1-8 C alkyl, alkoxyl or acyl; X is O or N(R8); and R8 is H or 1-8 C alkyl) is added to the above obtained mixture, and the resulting mixture is ground and melt-molded under heating. Thus, the polyolefin wastes can be recycled.</p> |
