PURPOSE:To provide perforated nonwoven fabric clear in the profile of the perforations. CONSTITUTION:A fibrous web support 1 for manufacturing perforated nonwoven fabrics by water jet has many projections 2 nearly at right angle on the surface of the support. By applying water jet on a fibrous web placed on the support, perforations with clear profile are formed on the nonwoven fabric owing to the projections; at the same time, the fibers around the perforations are fully interlaced.
