PURPOSE:To obtain simple detergent feeders that can constantly add an accurate specified volume of liquid detergent to a washing solution. CONSTITUTION:A detergent feeder comprising a detergent feed passage 30 equipped with a feed pump 40 to feed detergent from a detergent tank 10 to a detergent cylinder 20, timer 50 to drive the feed pump 40, detergent volume adjusting mechanism 60 to return an excess of detergent from the detergent cylinder 20 to the detergent tank 10, and feed passage 70 equipped with a solenoid valve 80 to add detergent from the detergent cylinder 20 to a washing solution 92. The feed pump 40 is operated for a period set on the timer 50 so that the volume of detergent fed to the detergent cylinder 20 is slightly over the volume of detergent to be stored in the cylinder 20. |
