PURPOSE:To obtain a molding, which easily and precisely conforms with a window glass of the desired shape, without developing the breakage of the window glass or the like at the production of the molding and realize the easy and sure mounting of the window glass by a method wherein frame material is poured under the state that fixtures, with which the window glass is mounted to a structural body, are arranged at the peripheral edge part of a dummy body so as to integrally mold the fixtures in a frame. CONSTITUTION:A forming mold 5 is clamped under the state that a dummy body 8 is arranged between the core plate 3 and the cavity plate 4 of the forming mold 5 so as to form a cavity space 6 at the peripheral edge part of the dummy body 8. After that, molding material is injected through a gate 7 in the cavity space 6 in order to produce a molding 2 by solidifying it. At this time, clips 9 and stud bolts 10 are arranged in the cavity space to be formed so as to be molded integral with the molding 2. Then, after being removed from the dummy body 8, the molding 2 is fittingly installed to the peripheral edge part of a window glass 1. Since the molding 2 is molded so as to conform to the peripheral edge part of the dummy body 8, the molding 2 precisely fits to the peripheral edge of the window glass 1 and the mounting of the window glass to a structural body becomes easy and, at the same time, the mounted window glass can show favorable external appearance. |
