PURPOSE:To provide a paper stuck detector at a low cost which enables to find an abnormal paper thickness at a plural number of positions by a single sensor and whose constitution and control are easy. CONSTITUTION:A detection roller 21 contacts a reference roller 1. Further, another detection roller 22 is mounted on a central shaft 3 which is the central shaft of the detection roller 21. A conversion lever 4 is mounted on the central shaft 3, the lever 4 is connected with an angle sensor 5, and the central shaft 3 can oscillate around a shaft of the angle sensor 5. A pressin spring 6 is provided at one end of the conversion lever 4 and presses each detection roller on the reference roller 1 by constant force. A link device which is formed by the angle sensor 5, the conversion lever 4, and the central shaft 3 is sufficiently rigid, and the relative position of each detection roller is not changed due to oscillation. Paper money 8 is sandwiched and conveyed by a conveyance belt 7. Consequently, even if paper thickness below each roller differs, larger paper thickness is always detected. |
