PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent appearance by forming a hollow molding using polypropylene, heating the surface of the hollow molding in molten condi tion, cooling and coating. CONSTITUTION:The hollow molding is a multilayer hollow molding having a surface layer and a substrate layer, and the surface layer is composed of the random system polypropylene having 100-150 deg.C m.p. and the thickness of the surface layer is <=30% of the thickness of the molding, and the substrate layer is a thermoplastic resin having higher m.p. than the surface layer random system polypropylene. And the surface of the multilayered hollow molding is heat-treated in a molten state, then cooled and coated. In this way, the appearance high in brightness, excellent in uniformity and clarity, good in looks and having high-rank sensitivity is obtained. |
