The scraper uses a cutting tool to scrape the external surface of a tube (1). The tool is mounted in a frame, able to be rotated around the tube, by a handle (24), guided by rollers (23). The frame is made up of several links (20), one carrying the roller (21) supporting the cutter (30).The links form a chain (2), closed by a clasp (22). The cutter is inclined to the perpendicular of the longitudinal axis of symmetry of the chain. Advantageously, the roller rotational axis is so inclined.
