The apparatus has an X-ray source (A) and an acquisition and reproduction module (B) of images from the X-ray. There is protection against alteration of the quality of the reproduced images. The acquisition and reproduction module has an image capture device (1) with an image acquisition phase through integration and an acquired information reading phase under control of a capture device (15). The results of the reading are analysed and integration is activated at a predetermined threshold of the acquired integrated information after a predetermined length of time which is a function of the X-ray emission from source (A). A memory (7) stores the video signal and a register (8) to write the video signals to memory line by line.
