The superposed modular construction elements (1) are formed from hollow tubes, cylinders or ovoids (3) each having plane open parallel upper and lower bases. There are several vertical walls (4) enclosing a central opening (5). The superposed openings (5) define a vertical hollow shaft.The upper and lower edges have a perimetric groove for receiving a binder at the time of coplanar encastring on other elements (1). The perimetric grooves provide a recess for placing a wedge or locking device. This recess fits in a recess made in the adjacent coplanar construction element. One of the vertical walls (4) has a transverse hole (9).
