The system consists of vertical supports (1) to which horizontal panels (2) are connected by locking elements (3). The supports are in the form of hollow or solid rods which engage with recesses (4) in the edges of strips (2') which make up the shelves, each recess being slightly smaller than half the external surface of a support.The supports can incorporate telescopic extensions at one or both ends, allowing for mechanical adjustment of their lengths. The shelf strips can be joined together by threaded rods or long bolts which pass through them from one side to the other clamping the strips to the supports.
