Recovery and recycling of plastic from material combinations

In a process for sepg. soluble plastic from other materials, the material combination is subjected to a swelling agent which either breaks the bond between the materials and/or reduces the mechanical strength of the plastic. The swollen plastic is then separated from the remaining material eg mechanical means.
