A multi-function kitchen appliance, characterized in that the motor cover (1) has a flange (2) with protrusions (3) that couple the mixer bowl (4) with the drive unit and it is shock-protected, and together with that, via a rubber shock absorber (5) and on the cover (1), a lever (6) with two microswitches (8) is attached, whereas those microswitches are pushed against the protrusions (9) of the cover (1) thus switching the motor (10) on/off, whereas during the operation of the shredder (12), the mixer drive shaft (11) is protected by the lid (13), whereas the lid (13) is attached to the flange (2) to the cover (1) of the motor (10), whereas the cover via a protrusion (3) pushes the lever (14) of a microswitch (20) rotary-wise, whereas during the operation of the mixer (11), the mixer drive shaft (12) is protected by the shaft cover (15) that pushes the microswitch (16) controlling the operation of the mixer (11) thus disabling the shredder (12).<IMAGE>
