<p>PURPOSE:To enable a display of a safe and maximum braking performance, by allowing a braking force corresponding to a change in car body load to be distributed into front wheels and rear wheels when braking takes place. CONSTITUTION:The constitution of a tandem mastering device is such that a driving piston 50 and a floating piston 43 are fitted in a cylinder proper 32, the movement of the driving piston 50 resulting in feeding brake liquid through outlet passages 14 and 20 to the outside from No.1 and No.2 liquid chambers 57 and 58 partitioned with the floating piston 43. The floating piston 43 is provided with a large-sized and a small-sized cylinder which are connected to the liquid chambers 57 and 58 respectively, a staged piston 12 being fitted in the inside of the piston 43. The piston 12 is brought in bumping contact with a closing part 86 by means of a spring 62 placed in the small-sized cylinder. The closing part 86 matched with the large-sized cylinder is secured on the floating piston 43 by the use of a snap ring 46.</p> |
