A worm gear for playless torque transfer, including the following components seated rotatably in the body: a drive shaft with worm, and a driven shaft with a worm wheel, whereas the driven shaft is located in a constant distance from the drive shaft and in a perpendicular plane, characterized in that the worm wheel (4) is linked to the driven shaft (3) by means of a thin-wall sleeve (5), whereas the real design-determined distance of the worm axis (2) from the driven shaft (3) is smaller than the half of the sum of pitch diameters of the worm (2) and worm gear (4) within such range that creates a constant elastic strain for the worm gear (4) and/or the thin-wall sleeve (5).<IMAGE>
