The main construction elements ie. the socket frame (1), seat (2), back rest (3), side arm rests (4) and front support (5) are movably attached by hinges or integrated rotating elements and can fold against, over and/or into each other. The elements themselves are rigid and form a stable construction when in the used position. This stability is provided by the locking support element (5) in the leg area.When folded, the chair only takes up about a quater to one fifth of its original space. The back and seat may be of different materials and the movements of folding and unfolding should neither disrupt nor reduce them.
