An antifreeze agent for digged loose materials, including polyhydroxy alcohols, characterized in that it consists of 10-85, and preferably of 20-45 parts per weight of polyhydroxy alcohols, of 5-55, and preferably of 10-30 parts per weight of molasses obtained after centrifuging sugar from the condensed beetroot juice, of 10-60, and preferably of 35-55 parts per weight of water, and of 0-10 parts per weight of known anti-foam additives, corrosion-protection additives and surfactants.
