The cushioning material, for the treatment of lymphedema, has an underlay (1) with a laying section (2) towards the skin, bonded to it. The lay section (2) has a number of high compressed foamed bodies (3) close together. The foam bodies (3) have an enlarged base for bonding to the underlay (1) and angled side surfaces (6) with upper pressure surfaces (4). The lower edges of the foam bodies (3) touch each other, to form valleys (5) with sharply-angled sides.
