Electrical contact for current-carrying pin insertion

An electrical contact element is produced from thin brass sheet (3) that is backed by a thin sheet element (4) of spring steel. The contact location provides for insertion of a pin and is formed with four radially projecting blades (2) having a curved profile.As the pin is inserted, the blades deflect against the steel backing and a good contact pressure is applied. When the pin is removed the blades return to the original position.
