The device operates by storing a signal applied through a camera as title data, isolating only the colour signal from either of two applied video signals. The colour burst signal level is regulated using the colour signals output from the luminance/chrominance signal separator (6) and that from a video reproduction circuit as an input signal. The signal output from the automatic colour signal control circuit (8) and the phase difference of the sub-carrier is detected. The sub-carrier is synchronised with the phase of the colour burst signal and the result is output in accordance with the output signal of the phase difference detector (9).
