PURPOSE:To improve a design in an external appearance without exposing the gripe of an air filter, and to load and unload the air filter through an easy operation by a method wherein a loading and unloading lever provided with inclined parts for engaging with each of protruding parts on the air filter and a locking part for being locked by one of said protruding parts respectively is disposed on the rear of a panel in an manner slidable to the panel. CONSTITUTION:An air filter loading and unloading lever 15 disposed on the rear of a front surface panel 2 is mounted slidably in a right and left direction along a guide groove 5a provided in a recessed state at the lower part of an air inlet part 5. The lever 15 is provided with two notched parts, each having an inclined part 16 and one of them having a locking part 17 which forms a hooking part consisting of a projected piece 18. Further, an operating knob 20 is formed at one of the ends of the lever 15. Furthermore, at the lower part of an air filter 6 are disposed a protruding part A11 and a protruding part B12 so as to be engaged respectively with each of the inclined parts 16 and locked by the locking part 17. According to this constitution, the loading and unloading of the air filter becomes easy and, in addition, the external appearance of an air conditioner can be favorably designed because a gripe of the air filter is not exposed on a designed surface. |
