In the electrical device disclosed, the power components (17), printed-circuit board (15) and the baseplate (10; 25) are connected to each other by means of a spring element which holds the power component firmly on the printed-circuit board, pressing the former against the latter. At the same time, the printed-circuit board and baseplate are connected to each other without the need for other attachment means. The electrical circuitry on the upper surface of the printed-circuit board is protected by a cover (19; 30) which at the same time secures the spring elements so that they cannot become detached.
