摘要 For colour measurement, at least part of the surface (1) is illuminated obliquely and reflected light is received by a colour detector (3) far off the reflection angle, pref. perpendicularly to the surface, and is evaluated at least to determine the standard colour values. For sheen measurement, the light is received by the colour detector and by a further detector (5) at the reflection angle. The light received by these detectors is converted into corresp. intensity signals, the logarithm of whose difference is formed to determine the sheen value. The sheen detection signal of the first detector is one of the standard colour values. The other intensity signal is also matched to the sensitivity of the human eye.
