The servo steering device has a coupling providing a drive connection between the servo motor, the steering column and the mechanical drive for steering the wheels when a given min. torque is exerted on the steering wheel.The coupling comprises inner and outer parts (12, 16) one of which is driven by the servomotor with a control cage (18) between them attached to the steering column. The control cage incorporates at least one roller (24) providing the drive coupling between the inner and outer parts under control of cam surfaces (26).
