PURPOSE:To copy originals for which page numbers are allocated by erasing a page number in each picture, correcting only the page number part and changing the output order of copied images in accordance with the page numbers, or changing the discharging route of paper sheets. CONSTITUTION:Original picture data read out by a CCD sensor 22 are converted into a digital signal, and after being corrected at its shading, the digital signal is binarized and stored in a picture memory 34. The picture data are transferred to an operating picture memory 36 and a page number allocated to the original is read out by a page number recognizing part 37. The page number is checked by a control part 38 and a binding margin is prepared on a proper position in the picture memory. The control part 38 determines whether only one side of the original is to be copied and discharged to a paper discharging tray or both sides are to be copied based upon the recognized result of the page number in the original. |
