<p>PURPOSE: To reduce the energy consumption of a locking device by respectively providing a bolt unit and a control unit on the inside and outside of a door and also respectively providing a solenoid device and a coupling and a power source and an unlocking means to the bolt unit and control unit. CONSTITUTION: A bolt set inside a door and a control unit 18 outside the door are connected to each other by means of a wire set 20 through which an electric current is made to flow. Then one wire 22 of the wire set 20 is maintained in a tensed state across a plug and a socket connecting device 24. When someone tries to remove the control unit 18, the wire 22 is separated from the connecting device 24 and disables an electric circuit so as to prevent the operation of the bolt unit 16. On the other hand, a means which sets a locking device to an unlocked position and a locked position are installed to the unit 18. Therefore, the locking device can be operated by means of a battery which does not consume much energy.</p> |
