PURPOSE: To obtain an adjustable lift-off hinge which can be adjusted easily and accurately to prevent the misalignment of a door. CONSTITUTION: An adjustable lift-off hinge has a support member having a longitudinal axis and mounted on a frame. A knuckle assembly 24 mounted on a door has a longitudinal adjustable knuckle member 28 rotatably connected to the support member along the longitudinal axis. A longitudinal fixed base member 26 has a convex outer surface 32 pivotally connected to the longitudinal side of the knuckle member 28. Means (a screw 42, a nut 44, etc.), for pivotally connecting the base member 26 to the knuckle member 28 are provided and, in addition, a means for rotatably connecting the knuckle member 28 to the support member is provided. |
