PURPOSE:To improve the durability to vibrations of the optical system driving mechanism for observation of an optical fiber welding device for driving a sliding table mounted with the optical system for observation to be used for observing an optical fiber within the optical fiber welding device by means of a feed screw mechanism connected thereto. CONSTITUTION:A driving shaft 13 of the feed screw mechanism is connected rotatably and integrally in directions (a), (b) to the sliding table 8 via ball bearings 20, 20. Further, the clatters of the bearings 20, 20 are removed by tightening of the bearings 20, 20 to each other by means of screws 24. The movement of the table 8 in the directions (a), (b) with respect to the driving shaft 13 is obviated and the durability to the vibrations is improved according to such construction. |
