PURPOSE:To obtain a polyester film useful as a base film for magnetic recording medium, having excellent scratching resistance and wear resistance. CONSTITUTION:A polyester film has a coated layer made in a film forming process of the polyester film at least one side of the polyester film and the coated layer contains 0.1-50wt.% aggregate having 30-800nm average particle diameter of aluminum oxide having 5-40nm primary particle diameter. |
