PURPOSE:To obtain a polyurethane excellent in thermal conductivity, friability and filling properties by reacting an organic polyisocyanate with a polyol in the presence of a specific catalyst composition and a foaming agent. CONSTITUTION:The catalyst composition is composed of 50-70wt.% 1- methylimdazole and/or 1-isobutyl-2-methylimidazole, 20-30wt.% N,N,N- trimethylaminoethylpiperazine, 5-15wt.% bis (dimethylaminoethyl) ether and 5-10wt.% formic acid. Furthermore, the objective polyurethane is obtained by reacting an organic polyisocyanate (preferably crude diphenylmethane diisocyanate, crude tolylene diisocyanate, etc.) with a polyol (preferably polyester polyols, a glycol, glycerol, etc.) in the presence of this catalyst composition and a foaming agent. Water used as the foaming agent is added in an amount of preferably 3-6 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. polyol. |
