<p>PURPOSE:To provide a sheet treatment device capable of securing a large volume of stored sheets when the sheets which are image-processed by an image forming device are stored in a laminated condition. CONSTITUTION:A sheet treatment device is provided with a carriage 111 to discharge the sheets outside the device, a driving means (pulse motor 115) to move the carriage 111 in the vertical direction, a position detecting means consisting of switches 125, 126, and sheet surface upper and lower side detecting sensors 125S, 126S, a height detecting means (filler 122) to detect the height of the uppermost surface of the sheets which are discharged by the carriage 111 and laminated, and when the carriage 111 is moved in the direction opposite to the feeding direction of the sheet, the speed of a paper discharging roller 119 within the carriage is increased, preventing the slackness of the sheet.</p> |
