PURPOSE:To provide a porous material composed of a boron nitride containing polytetrafluoroethylene porous material and a liquid lubricant used for impregnating the above-mentioned porous material and useful as a packing capable of resisting the working temperature and the working pressure and free from attack of a fluid. CONSTITUTION:The objective porous material is obtained by impregnating a boron nitride-containing polytetrafluoroethylene porous material (preferably 30 to 1000mum thickness, 35 to 90% porosity and 0.01 to 50mum diameter of fine pore) with a liquid lubricant (preferably low-volatile lubricant such as silicone oil, fluid paraffin, naphtha or white oil). |
