PURPOSE:To form a constricted part on the peripheral surface of a rodlike food or cut the food to a required size by rotating shutter pieces with a control motor and suitably opening and closing a forming and cutting region. CONSTITUTION:Three or more shutter pieces 1, 1... are rotated through power transmitting means (3a)... with a control motor 4 in which the rotational direction, rotating angle and time of starting and completing the rotation are controlled to suitably open and close a forming and cutting region. A constricted part of a required shape is formed on the peripheral surface of a rodlike food (F), continuously discharged and led to the forming and cutting region and the resultant food is then cut to a prescribed length. |
