PURPOSE:To easily select a proper translated word out of plural translated word candidates by including the heading of a 2nd language and data of a format to be outputted for practical translation in a dictionary when there are plural translated word information of the 2nd language corresponding to a word of the 1st language and displaying the plural translated word information of the 2nd language on a display part as different translation based upon post edition. CONSTITUTION:A pre-edition part 12 for editing an input sentence inputted from an input part 11 to a proper format, a translation part 13 for translating the input sentence obtained from the pre-edition part 12 to an input language, a dictionary part 14 stored in a hard disk or the like, and a post edition part 15 for editing a translated sentence found out by the translation part 13 are built in a data processing part 10 in a machine translation system 1 like softwares. The dictionary 14 has user displaying data for displaying its contents to a user and the user displaying data are used for working the combination of the heading of the 2nd language corresponding to the heading of the 1st language and its associated information as a format similar to a format outputted by a practical translation result and displaying the worked result. |
