PURPOSE:To provide the subject mold easy to manufacture and adapted for molding a number of units for small article molding wherein temperature adjusting means are prepared at junctions where cavity blocks at both sides of a hot block are connected thereby to adjust gaps formed in the said temperature adjusting means. CONSTITUTION:The width W of the hot block is fixed, and both cavity blocks 4 are connected by the junction 12 thereby to adjust the length of the junction in the arrow A direction. The temperature of the junction 12 is varied and the degree of thermal deformation is adjusted, whereby correlative distance between the hot block and the cavity block member 4 is precisely adjusted and the gap of the slide surface 10 is also adjusted. If the temperature adjustment is carried out correctly, it is preferable because the dimension can be maintained stably, and it can greatly reduce the processes in the metal mold manufacture and the adjustment thereof. |
