METHOD OF OPERATING AIR-CONDITIONER

PURPOSE:To prevent accumulation of heat in an indoor machine after suspension of heating operation. CONSTITUTION:(a) During heating operation, an indoor machine 1 is operated with a louver 6 positioned at a downward flow angle. (b) After the heating operation is suspended, the louver 6 is turned to be positioned at an upward flow angle and an indoor fan 5 is adjusted to be operated at a set number of revolutions. Temperature of an indoor heat exchanger 4 is monitored by a temperature sensor 7. (c) At a point of time when the temperature of the indoor heat exchanger 4 reaches a set temperature or lower or when a predetermined period of time lapses after the suspension of the heating operation, the indoor fan 5 is suspended and the louver 6 is closed.
