IMMERSION NOZZLE FOR CONTINUOUS CASTING

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide the immersion nozzle for continuous casting capable of casting a steel plate blank material for working without having blowhole defects always stably while preventing nozzle clogging. CONSTITUTION:The immersion nozzle of alumina graphite for continuous casting of steel is constituted by confining the SiO2 content of an inside porous body 1 corresponding to the gas blowing part o the nozzle to <=5wt.% and forming the inside wall surface of a part 3 lower than the inside porous body including at least a discharge hole 2 of refractories contg. 1 to 10wt.% Na2O and <=5wt.% SiO2.
