<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method and a device for development without giving a large stress, which generates the fixation of the developer, even in the case where the soft developer is used to form a color image. CONSTITUTION:When R1 means the diameter of a circle having a circumferential length as same as the projected circumferential length of a non-magnetic one-component developer grain, and R2 means the diameter of a circle having an area as same as the projected area of the non-magnetic one-component developer grain, and Re means a mean value of R1/R2 of a thousand pieces of non-magnetic one-component developer, a developing roller 10 for supplying the non-magnetic one-component developer in a range of Re <=1.2 to a photoreceptor 1, and a supplying roller 11 for supplying the nonmagnetic one- component developer to this developing roller 10, and a rotating roller 12, with which the developing roller 10 is in contact and which charges the developer supplied on the developing roller 10 by the supplying roller 11 and which forms a developer layer on the developing roller 10, are provided.</p> |
