<p>PURPOSE:To provide the driving mechanism of a reel brake, which is contrived so making small in size and light in weight and also improving the workability. CONSTITUTION:In an 8mm video, a ratchet brake lever 153 (ratchet brake 150) is arranged, which is provided with a catch 154 controlling the rotation of a magnetic tape take-up reel 4 to the tape unwinding direction while engaging with the ratchet 151 of a turntable 106 of the take-up reel 4 at the loading time of magnetic tape 1. On the other hand, a gear pulley 109 engaged with an idle gear 114 rotationally driving the magnetic tape feeding reel 3 and take-up teel 4 is driven and connected to a release lever 164 which operates the release of the ratchet brake lever 153 through a release gear 159 and a seesaw lever 163.</p> |
