LIGHT SOURCE DEVICE

PURPOSE:To assure safety at the time of a lamp exchange and to reduce the size of the transfer of a light source circuit and the size of the device. CONSTITUTION:A lamp exchange door 17 mounted to this light source device 11 is provided with an electrode pressing part 25 on the inner side and a knob 19 for on/off of the electrode is engaged therewith. A pressing electrode 21 connected to a heat sink 13 is provided in the side part of a lamp house 15 and is held and energized by an elastic member 24. An electrode plate 22 connected to a lamp lighting circuit 23 is disposed to face the pressing electrode 21. The electrode pressing part 25 presses the pressing electrode 21 by turning the knob 19 for on/off of the electrode to tighten the pressing electrode, by which the pressing electrode 21 and the electrode plate 22 are brought into connection and the heat sink 13 and the lamp lighting circuit 23 are electrically connected.
