<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent sound insulating effect by forming a sound insulating pipe, applied to a supply/discharge water pipe, of an outer shell consisting of vinyl chloride resin composition containing barium sulfate and an inner shell consisting of forming vinyl chloride resin composition or the like. CONSTITUTION:In a pipe of 2-layer structure of an inner shell 1 serving as a sound absorbing layer and an outer shell 2 serving as a sound insulating layer, the outer shell 2 is formed of vinyl chloride resin composition of charge adding 200 to 1000 pts.wt. barium sulfate and 30 to 100 pts.wt. plasticizer relating to 100 pts.wt. vinyl chloride resin. The inner shell 1 is formed of foaming vinyl chloride resin composition or foaming polystyrene composition. A sound insulating pipe P thus obtained is mounted in such a manner that cuts (t), t' are provided in the lengthwise direction, and after coating a drain pipe S or the like of a flush toilet by opening the cut (t) site by the cut t' serving as a hinge, a butt part of the cut (t) is filled with sound insulating putty (a), and applying taping, bind (b), etc., onto the putty.</p> |
