PURPOSE:To facilitate separation of the lens of an automobile lamp from a seal groove by using a foaming material which foams from a liquid state as a sealing material, when sealing the leg portion of the lens inside the seal groove with the sealing material. CONSTITUTION:A U-shaped seal groove 12 is formed at the front opening peripheral edge of the body 10 of an automobile lamp and the leg portion 15 of a front lens 13 is immersed in a sealing material, two-liquid urethane foam 20 in the groove 12, and the foaming material 20 is expanded and set to mechanically and firmly hold the end of the leg portion of the lens 14 in place inside the seal groove 12 of the lamp body 10. During replacement of the lens 14, etc., the lens 14 with the sealing material 20 adhering thereto is extracted from the seal groove 12 and the sealing foaming material 20 sticking to the leg portion 15 is peeled and a new lens is held in place inside the seal groove 12 by means of the sealing material 20 such as two-liquid urethane foam. |
